Lovely shirts! I think I tend to be intimidated by the logistics of white shirts: 1) Transparency management- what to wear underneath? The right bra vs. tank tops, etc. 2) Maintenance- how to keep them looking white?? Then I end up opting for lots of navy for simplicity. But white looks so fantastic!!

Ditto. I love a white shirt but they inevitably end up with a coffee stain on my boob

Can you explain why designers do one breast pocket? I always feel

It breaks it up. Two or none? Or are they modeling it from men’s shirts?

Agree 100%! So hard to find a nice classic white shirt with two pockets

If you like sunshine, L.A. currently is as bright as f**k right now. I almost feel like I need to wear sunglasses if I pass by a window! Come on down!

So many goodies. I wish F&E would extend their sizes, their pieces always shine!

I spent many years ironing and steaming stuff for photo shoots( now things are mostly post production) and hope to never p ick up an iron again. Any hope that these shirts are more crumple proof?

Oh I love this in black! Any help with size? They list no measurements and model is listed in xs when sizes are numerical. Argh.

I love this! Did you go to Jamaica solo?

These are great alternatives. I'm in NJ and it feels like a grim rain forest. Good for you for getting away!

I can’t justify spending $200 on the Toast shirt right now, especially since it needs to be ironed, but “peasant top crossed with an oxford shirt” pretty much nails my work wardrobe aesthetic.

Good for you, knowing when to take a break. I have two of the Xirena tops and they're about to go into high rotation here in the wacky weather Rocky Mountain region (rain and hail one minute, 97° and oppressive the next). I am also fortunate to have a cabin I can retreat to when I need to get away and think. It's not Jamaica, but it also does not require a reservation. It's quiet. I hope you enjoy your trip, Kim.

Kim, how does the XIrena shirt fit? I'm roughly a 12...size large?

Thank you!!

Yes, I think that would be a large.

I liked the Xirena a lot last time you featured it, and I like it again now as well. However, I always feel like rolled and stitched sleeves can be dicey. Sometimes they look really sad after being washed and worn a bit. Since the top is pricey, I’d hope not here. How does it wash?
