First off, apologies for the radio silence yesterday: on Monday night I decided I couldn’t bear another day of New York’s rainy, wintry, June weather, and booked myself a last-minute flight to Jamaica for a few days of sunshine and rest. I’ll be back here Monday, but meanwhile, let’s check out some goods, starting with the gauze Avery top from Xirena, which I own and love.
A lace trim popover that looks as easy as a T-shirt.
I do like a band collar, especially the one on this snappy shirt.
This eyelet shirt is from the collab between Gap and Doen, and definitely looks pricier than it is.
This tuxedo shirt from Frank & Eileen is currently half off, so run, don’t walk if this is your kind of thing. FYI: it runs pretty big.
Another band collar that just looks so crisp.
This gauze shirt is so excellently slouchy.
In a season of eyelet shirts, this is among the best.
I like that this looks like a peasant top crossed with an oxford shirt.
Subtle details on this lace trim popover make it standout.
And finally, a nicely feminine shirred lace trim option.
Like most newsletters of this kind, I use affiliate links when I can, which means that if you make a purchase, I earn a little cash. Please do know, though, that nothing *ever* appears here that I wouldn’t want to wear, use, or own myself.
Hope your break in Jamaica helps you feel better. 🤗
Lovely shirts! I think I tend to be intimidated by the logistics of white shirts: 1) Transparency management- what to wear underneath? The right bra vs. tank tops, etc. 2) Maintenance- how to keep them looking white?? Then I end up opting for lots of navy for simplicity. But white looks so fantastic!!
