I stock up on the Gap's organic cotton tees every year and this year they're even better. I also have two of their linen shirts and those are also excellent (they run LARGE) and I bought a "cropped" dark wash denim shirt last year (don't know if they still stock it) that I wear as an over shirt and it does not disappoint. And (finally) I can sing high praises for their vintage sweatshirts--warm, simple and most excellent when you need to relax and comfy down.

I've bought more from the Gap in the last two months than the last ten years combined (barrel pants, linen shirts, poplin shirts). I blame Zac!

I hadn’t bought from Gap for years, but lately I’ve found a lot to like. I got the oversized linen shirt earlier in royal blue and have washed and worn it, but believe the description when they say size down if you don’t want it quite as voluminous. Now I’m considering the striped one. Also, for those who like 100% cotton pj’s, I love Gap’s poplin ones for summer nights — the shirts are finished nice enough to wear as a cute casual top!

Beauty By Earth -- best self-tanner I've ever found. I use the foam/mousse (I wear gloves to apply), and it is truly natural looking even on my pale, pale winter skin.

Yep, the Gap, where I worked in college in the 1980s, seems back--sans purple and pink striped rugby shirts! I just bought that same black cardi. The question...is Posen also behind Banana Republic also looking elegant and grown-up lately?

We know Kim and Jenn are balloon jean haters but I like the pair I have. I don’t know how quickly they’ll feel dated, so I think the best idea is to get a pair at a good price. I’m planning to order a pair of the Gap High Rise Horseshoe Jeans, but if they’re high rise, why does the model’s belly button show? Did she size up? https://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=615028002&vid=1&tid=gppl000084&kwid=1&ap=7&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20845159183&gbraid=0AAAAAD_AT8s2J_HeieIqonUQiz-grBhr7&gclid=CjwKCAjw24vBBhABEiwANFG7yy3LAI5aF8X3rJfCS67f6zYL_1nAOqTRwosVWN-FxdxzqP7b2MPxjxoCUAAQAvD_BwE

These come in a bunch of interesting colors, including this one that looks kinda like a light khaki with a wash of pale blue over it. I expect it’ll look great with blue striped shirts or tees. Nice to see good basics and some happy surprises at the Gap again

My Rag & Bone V-neck sweatshirty-tee is getting threadbare, so I ordered the GAP sweatshirt, except in pale grey instead of red. With the discount, one-fourth the price of R&B!! I call that a score. Thanks, Kim.

Not even two sips into my coffee and that gauze striped number and the white shorts are on their way to me. And they will come to Portugal with me in two weeks! Thanks!

There is a lot to like here - the cropped sweatshirt and gauze striped button down will be great for the travel I have coming up. The 40% F&F discount is a nice perk.

Thank you!

I got two of those linen button-downs -- the red and the blue -- and I can tell you the colors are truly excellent. They're really doing some good stuff over at Gap these days!

Some great summer essentials here! Would love a post about 100% cotton or linen washable caftans. Thanks.

I"m crying a little because i LOVE that first cardigan in red but it is sold.... out.... Arrrgh.

I agree that GAP is looking more appealing these days and now I understand why.

I have the striped Gap tee in green & blue. It’s very cute and the XXL fits perfectly. I’ve found that Gap sizing doesn’t always work for me! I know something will fit if the sizing says “relaxed” fit, but this tee fits to a tee, despite being a “classic” fit.

I have the pointelle cardigan and recommend it. It's tough to find the right cardi to wear with dresses--they often look dowdy if they don't drape well or hit in the right spot. Or they're too heavy, defeating the whole purpose and vibe of a strappy summer dress. This GAP cardi works.

Those shorts look classy and have a very respectable inseam length, so I might give them a try. Also eyeing the striped shirt and some of the gauze stuff...
