This brand has been attempting to return to its former glory for quite some time, and now that Zac Posen is running things there, they just might pull it off. I found plenty to like and want here, starting with this classic denim shirt.
An oversized linen shirt that comes in a veritable rainbow of shades; also, there are matching pants.
Just a cute little blue and pink striped tee.
These cotton poplin boxer shorts would be great for summertime lounging.
A fun cropped sweatshirt in poppy red.
This gauze button-down also comes in solid black, but this striped version delights me.
Dare I try shorts? This low-rise linen blend pair looks surprisingly wearable.
A timeless cotton cardigan, for throwing on whenever.
This barn jacket for sure looks more expensive than it is.
And finally, a sweet pointelle cardi for wearing with dresses.
I stock up on the Gap's organic cotton tees every year and this year they're even better. I also have two of their linen shirts and those are also excellent (they run LARGE) and I bought a "cropped" dark wash denim shirt last year (don't know if they still stock it) that I wear as an over shirt and it does not disappoint. And (finally) I can sing high praises for their vintage sweatshirts--warm, simple and most excellent when you need to relax and comfy down.
I've bought more from the Gap in the last two months than the last ten years combined (barrel pants, linen shirts, poplin shirts). I blame Zac!
