Up here in New England we have mudrooms and coat closets and hooks in hallways because the weather requires SO MANY coats and jackets. Four seasons! All of them serious about their weather! Unless NYC is more temperate than I think, you would be wise to purchase any puffer coat that you will happily wear. Winter is long and cold and you will enjoy it more if you are warm and dry.
The Cotapaxi coat is giving serious 70’s vibes with those stripes. And definitely go for the gingham puffer. I have a highlighter yellow one from Universal Standatd that I bought a couple of years ago and it is so happy making and such a change from the New England sea of black
Go for the gingham puffer, Kim. It's too cute to pass up. I could use one here in The NL. Listened to your latest podcast w/Jen this morning and loved it, per usual. You two keep me laughing on these dark, cold wintery days.
I just ordered the F&E pull-on jeans. They look perfect. What I love about F&E is that their stuff reflects how I like to dress all the time, so the price doesn't bother me. I used to spend so much on business clothes that stifled me, I feel I owe it to myself to indulge in comfortable luxury now.
Cold weather shopping when it’s actually cold completely gets rid of my self control! I hate being cold, and somehow buying warm clothes tricks me into thinking I won’t ever be be cold again if I just buy them (spoiler alert no coat or sweater makes it feel like summer 😂)
OK....you may not like to recommend jeans but I have bought....AND LOVED every pair of jeans you do recommend. So please continue to be discerning but tell me when you find my next pair!
Thumbs up on the gingham puffer, Kim. The Cos fair isle wants to live at my house. Fortunately it’s several inches too long for me, but I hope someone cool adopts it and gives it a good home. It’s stunning
I looked at all the colors of the gingham puffer, and I actually like the lightest (kind of cream-on-cream) one best—it looks chic yet cozy. Great-looking jacket in all the colors, though.
The boucle jacket is gorgeous, and I'm in love with the marled sweater. I wish there were reviews of it, though, because it looks like it could be itchy. (I'm sensitive to wool.) Tempted to give it a try while Madewell's sale is still on, though.
Such a good posting. That eyelet bra is gorgeous even in the white and I don't normally go for white bras. And the waxed denim jeans look so casually dressy. Lots to love here!
I love mine, particularly the style shown here (but I like the mesh better). They're so comfy. I love a bralette, but I don't really like having to pull them over my head so the back hooks are the best. I pretty much only wear these and my Natori Feathers bra (if i need a more t-shirt style bra) now.
I am small chested though so can't say how they would work with a larger chested person.

I just bought the Cotapaxi coat! I had never heard of them. Thanks for the tip.

I have a couple of Cotopaxi vests! The Cotopaxi jacket i want is (naturallment) not on sale.
I do too, and I can absolutely recommend them. The colors are superb, as noted by Kim!
Ah, that boucle jacket! Nailed it.

Love the Madewell sweater and the luxurious scarf.

Love the Dre...also the Frame Garcon is an excellent pair with similar vibes (slightly narrower leg but NOT a skinny)

At 40% off on the gingham puffer, it’s a no brainer.
Has anyone warn Negative underwear - specifically their bras? How are the fit and quality?

Whatever size you think you are, size up!
