I've used both the BBrown and the LauraM eyeshadow sticks for years. They are both creamy, easy to use, and...very similar! Find your favorite shade in either brand and you'll be happy. Another poster mentions the Victoria Beckham sticks which I also use - more limited shade range but also lovely.
My favorite eyeshadow stick is Victoria Beckham Beauty. It goes on super soft and you have to work quick to blend it, but once it sets it doesn’t budge. (Really all of her makeup is 10/10.)
I have been so anxious to try her makeup...Nordstrom is now selling it in their flagship stores and on line. Hoping to get the the Chicago Michigan Ave. store soon to try in person.
The eyeliner and eye shadow sticks are nice. Pass on the lip stain( dries patchy) and concealer pen ( doesn’t last as long as the touche eclat original and is more expensive).
I can confirm that the eyeliner is great. I haven't tried the sticks.
I have a trip to NYC soon and while there, I hope to sample both Jones Road and RMS - I am interested in both brands but don't have a local option for either (I like to try new brands in person, after that am glad to order online).
That cashmere hoodie is everything. I'm trying to mentally justify the purchase since week after this week we're supposed to be in the 70's which means the 80's can't be far behind. (sigh) Helloooooo climate change. The AYR silk pants are seasonless, right?
In hopes of saving myself some legwork, has anyone with a gut tried these patch pocketed pants? They look quite nifty. But I wonder if this is a dumb question. Though perhaps the fabric weight would also make a difference. And then on the third hand, I don't tuck, so no one will see the cute pockets.
I gulped twice at the price, but went for the beautiful sneakers. We will see how they feel on. Will they provide adequate support for a week's vacation full of walking? is the big question.
Does anyone have any experience with Me + Em sneakers?
I have the Me+Em hoodie in peacock blue (you must have posted it). It's my favorite article of clothing right now. After reviewing what I spent on clothes in 2024 I don't need a reminder that it comes in other colors ... but boy, am I tempted.
I love that you mentioned eye shadow sticks because I just got the one by Glossier in the color Amp (kind of copper-y). So far so good. I'm learning to apply more of the color to the middle and outer part of the lid (lighter near the inner corner), and I'm blending w/an eye shadow brush to smooth it out. The platform on the sneakers looks a bit like the Loci fushion sneakers I got in Dec (on sale). Wearing them A LOT. Excited about your trip!
Love that eyeshadow! It is the best. Thank goodness those sneakers are not in my size. They are perfection.
Do you mean the Laura M. or the B. Brown one that you like the most?
Laura M! So creamy and easy to use.
Agreed. I like Laura Mercier stuff in general, and the eyeshadow is perfection.

Kim, have you tried the Ayr jeans? The model Roadie appears to have a nice slouch and i think there’s some stretch.
I have not tried them but I have been tempted!

If only the AYR pants came in a longer length. They look heavenly

These are all great, classic choices. I am glad I've found patch pocket jeans that work for me. This pair from Kohls is pretty spiff and was able to score a pair in a 12 short. Good stretch and seem to be on trend. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-6147731/womens-lc-lauren-conrad-super-high-waisted-wide-leg-trouser-jeans.jsp?color=Black&prdPV=1
In a similar vein, Glossier's lidstar eye shadow is pretty good. It's pretty foolproof compared to powder eyeshadows.

I like the sneakers. I see the lip balm also comes in non-tinted.

Does AYR, specifically the pants, fit true to size?
