You really can never have enough caftans. I just saw a post on one of the socials about a Mrs Roper fest on Long Island, where all participants wore wildly colorful caftans (and oversized necklaces)

I am not a big fan of orange since the color does nothing for me, but "hell yeah!" on that canvas bag! It's outstanding! I also own that Everlane washable silk shirt and every time I wear it I get compliments. It's one of those garments that flatters every body and every age. Magic must be involved.

TY and Kim for the personal experience on the boxy silk shirt. This is so helpful!

Love the cheery menswear inspiration of the red belt. It fondly reminds me of my dad- I can see him wearing this one with a polo shirt (no logo, because he always hated them), pleated khaki shorts and loafers with no socks.

I just purchased that Rag & Bone dress this past weekend - it got my 16 yo daughter's approval and I actually feel like it looks better on me than on the model (this never, ever happens, I promise). It is long (I am 5'7" and it's full length on me), but so flattering, and will be great in the heat.

I picked up that rag & bone dress earlier this year, it’s a very forgiving design that is perfect for warmer days that have been arriving. I strongly endorse your recommendation!

I do like those dresses with pleated waists, they seem more elegant than elastic

Thank you for the Everlane shirt recommendation. I just ordered it in blue. It looks like a perfect summer shirt for me.

Rag & Bone cardigan stands out for sure as does their pin-stripe dress. Head for the Hamptons in the linen stripes. Indigo chambray looks comfy if pricey.

Love everything in this post!

I have several longer cotton striped shirts (from Anthropologie) and wear them a lot in the summer...over dresses/pants, etc...good arm and rear end coverage.

Love these, Kim. Thank you. Color is a funny thing. We crave certain colors (without realizing it) based on what the color provides us. Orange is stimulating, and it enhances creativity and helps with depression. My favorite combo is blue and orange, and they are the perfect balance of colors since blue is calming. :)

I’m so in love with the Rag&Bone dress, but I promised myself I won’t buy more sleeveless dresses. My upper arms are ok and I’ll still wear the many sleeveless summer dresses I have, but I need to face reality. The skin on my arms can be kinda crepey, especially if I’m dehydrated. With that dress in mind, I’ll see how strong my resolve is. Erin and Rachel - is that dress TTS?
