I have been wanting this silk caftan-ish dress from Block Shop since they introduced it months ago. The shape is flowy but not too oversized, and the color combination is aces. Should I go for it?
I really dig the idea of a white blazer this time of year; so crisp and chic. But they do tend to stain easily, especially if you’re spill-prone as I am, so here’s a much cheaper one for your consideration.
This pretty, drapey silk blend dress from the brand Four Objects seems like it would be magically flattering, and great for travel too.
A perfect layer for the plane or the cool nights at the shore: this spiff linen blend poncho.
The print on my new L’Agence silk blouse is composed of images of Mahjong tiles: so clever and cute.
These track shorts seem perfect for lounging about, or—dare I?—exercise.
This airy gauze top comes in several other neutral shades, and is tons cheaper than this similar one from Xirena.
Can I still wear platform wedges? The heel on these is actually pretty low, so I’m thinking maybe.
Just a fun, nautically-inspired polo sweater in a linen/cotton blend.
Madewell gifted me this slouchy short-sleeve button-down, and I am crazy about it: the shape is great and sort of cocoonish, and the stripes are a perkier, brighter orange than they look here.
This diagonal-stripe satin shirt is really pleasingly graphic, and nicely priced.
I had a big launch party a couple summers ago and after obsessing for weeks about what to wear as a newly 40+ boss lady, I went with a silver gown with a white blazer over it. The chicest most grown-up outfit ever! I am still so happy with the pictures. No idea what to wear it with now though.
Another yes vote for the dress, will be great with the wedges. How about some pics of Kim in all these goodies someday? Also love a white blazer but I always ditch mine feeling like I look like I belong in the lab. You have inspired me to try again. Have a great week cyber pals.
