That sweater is not just blue. It's not turquoise. It's not lapis. It's actually cerulean.

Tall girl here, have never been able to walk in heels. Sneakers, Birks, Doc Martens, loafers all give an edgy vibe when deployed well. I loved MJs when I was younger (those cheap fabric ones from Chinatown!!) but at my height I feel silly in them now

I have always been curious about ME+EM jeans. These look good, but wide leg jeans are hard for me. If they fit my butt, they gape at the waist and bag out around the upper thighs. There's no slimming "drape," because I have to fit for my largest ass-et. For some reason I don't have that problem with regular straight leg or skinny jeans. And I feel your (high) heel pain. I will always believe a shoe with some heel is more flattering than a flat, especially in a boot, so I reserve mine (all under 3" these days) for short jaunts. Otherwise, I've been getting into oxfords, brogues, and monk straps, which are better for my foot than a ballet flat.

They look good with just about everything! And so many styles at so many price points.

Happy New Year! Have you already posted about cool looking raincoats that are warm? The PNW winters leave me looking for something I don't look like a dork in haha! Thanks!

Love the jeans (in the dark wash shown on website), however, there's no info on inseam length, which for me just means a waste of time ordering and returning. I find it hard to believe a $300 pair of jeans isn't offered in a few, specified lengths.

I ordered several things from the Alex Mill sale last week and they are beautiful (arrived really quickly, too). I got the solid Jaime sweater and it is lovely. I ordered one in L and one in XL and washed them on the delicate cycle, cold water. They both shrunk a bit so that the XL feels really nice, cozy and a comfortable fit on my perimenopausal body. The L is more body hugging on me, like on the model in the pictures- I am going to give it to my daughter, who has the slenderness of Youth. I tend to have annoyingly sensitive skin and the wool does not feel itchy at all- I've been wearing the XL sweater on repeat and I ended up ordering a couple more. I also got the fair isle sweater that I think Kim had recommended in the past and it is great. (I washed it the same way and the L is the right size for me.) I also ordered the Ava sweater tee to have as a merino base later in the cold- I haven't yet washed it or worn it but the fabric is so soft and lovely, it's hard to believe it's merino. I'm short, 5'4" and everything seems the right length for me.

I love the mary janes. Also like the floral dress, and the cashmere cardigan. Speaking of bras, just saw a fun foreign film from 2018 called The Bra.

Kim France, you have mentioned a caftan brand and sung its praises. Can you remind me what the name is? Thank you!

Kim! I'm a wee bit mad at you (Of course I'm not!) But, my version of Dry January, was to not buy any new clothes. And, I NEED that blue sweater. Please Fellow GOACA readers talk me out of or into it!

I found a comfy pair of non-leather (aka vegan) just below the knee boots on Amazon that were comfortable from the first wearing. I was concerned about wearing non-leather tall boots when I noticed the box said they have odor protection built in! I sized up and they fit perfectly.

Mary Janes have been my sort of signature forever. I have too many now, including a different style from Madewell, but I still covet the Remy ones here. Also loving the brown coat, and the blue sweater. That shade of blue is just stunning, and I don't usually go for light blues.

Great list. Thanks.

I immediately ordered two of those bras. Super sexy (even though no one on the planet will see me in them except me!) and I love the Negative bras I own. Super good list, Kim!
