I should have posted this on yesterday’s substack, but I found a pair of cute & stylish flat sandals that are both comfortable and don’t make clop clop or shoe fart sounds when I walk: Charlotte Stone. This brand makes a variety of colorful styles, often in mismatched colors! I prefer matching shoes, and the style I got looks like a Birkenstock Gizeh sandal: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0afVdpW2HAX4UZ_YHf10H0GKQ
I just bought an amazing pair of zebra patterned Vans off of eBay. I bought them to wear with silver uzinyc pants (husband calls them my baked potato pants) and a green Cornejo Ina tank. My sartorial visions don’t always work out…I’ll keep you posted!
It’s interesting to see how the Cynthia Rowley shirt dress at Saks is styled/manipulated. I wouldn’t look twice at the first picture of it, but I love it with some buttons unbuttoned, the sleeves pushed up and, most importantly a belt, which I’d swap for a gutsy brown leather belt. I find I have to work with and tweak my clothes more than ever, or maybe I just have fun doing it.
The caftan is pretty much perfect. I hope the fabric is all cut from the same perspective because that curve under the bust gives it a low-key empire waste looking thing.
I misread the title as "I"m digging zebra pants right now." I had to click -- what COULD Kim be thinking?! LOL.
SAME!! 😂
“Super-janky” 😂 Word of the day!
My friends and I say janky all the time, but I don't see it much in print. Haha! Nordstrom--what were you thinking?
The satin skirt with light blue sweater and the Frye type boots is my idea of a perfect ensemble!

I have a zebra print sundress, I guess I should dig it out and see how I feel!

I think you need the caftan! then it can become a future segment of your memoir and hmmm, maybe you could write it off as a deduction?!
Check out Ruti.com. She’s an Israeli designer, with some really interesting designs. I own two pairs of Zebra print pants in two different color ways. They wear beautifully, travel like a dream. https://ruti.com/search?q=Zebra&options%5Bprefix%5D=last
I like the caftan but animal prints aren’t my thing. As for the shirt at the end. I think the model is wearing slacks.
Slacks…leggings. Whatever. The styling is super ugly. But I did what Kim recommended, and the shirt looks so cool. I am mighty tempted by it.
Slacks are worse! 😜
I’m sorry! Zubahs was the first thing that came to mind…don’t hate me! Also: go Chiefs!
