There must be some great collective consciousness that puts these things in our heads, because I've been obsessed with green lately too. I can only wear darker greens, or minty ones with a decent amount of blue in them, but I love the brighter greens here. I might just be able to pull off the Madewell x Alexa Chung shirt, and the Alex Mill striped shirt is close to perfection.
I don't wear a lot of bright colors, but Kelly green looks good on me, so it's my one exception. Eyeing that Aqua cardigan . . . And, yes, can we all petition Sezane to do better? It's puzzling. I doubt they do it to hide the fact that their stuff isn't flattering (it's a good reliable brand), so, why? The squatty potty pose in particular always makes me laugh. Not a position any of us is ever likely to find ourselves in.
This is off-topic, but extremely important. Yesterday I went to my local drug store for the newest Covid vaccine (I'm going to be on an airplane for six hours next week so it seemed the wise thing to do). The lady administering the vaccine said, "Do you want both shots?" I thought she meant two Covid shots and I said yes. However, yesterday afternoon––about three hours after the shots I became quite ill. Like fever, migraine, extreme pain in my joints, shaking uncontrollably (I was shaking so hard I couldn't fasten the leash to the dog's collar). I called the pharmacy and asked if these weren't extreme symptoms and what should I do. Turns out they didn't give me two Covid shots, but one Covid and one flu. I CAN'T TAKE FLU SHOTS BECAUSE OF EXTREME REACTIONS. I was told to take an advil and I'd be better in 24-48 hrs. And if I didn't get better to go see my doctor. WTF!!!!! IF you go to a pharmacy rather than your regular doctor for Covid or flu vaccines make certain you know what you are getting. BE CLEAR. I've been ill for over 24 hours and while my symptoms have lessened (the shaking has stopped) I still have a headache, joint pain and still have a bit of fever. Also...The greens are great––so terrific to see green shirts sweaters etc. in something other than olive green! Also, I was too sick to comment on yesterday's post, but I LOVE the jacket you purchased in Amsterdam. Expensive, but you'll have it forever and it will age beautifully. You can just tell.
Oh, I am so sorry that happened to you!! What a nightmare. That happened to me once too, it was scary (the intense shaking in the middle of the night).
I hope you called the store to complain? They've got to be more careful. Here also (in Cali), they are advertising the two shots together.
I have the Frank & Eileen fleece in pale yellow and it is very comfy and TTS. Their prices are a bit steep for me and I have had success getting them new on Poshmark.
Last year I bought a green sweater very similar to the chunky turtleneck you have here. It may be a tad darker but it’s so good! I also like that first shirt and that rugby type top (although I don’t get determining size based on weight and height).
I also noticed a pkethora of green items this year. I also love a Kelly or fresh, slightly cold green. Going to a wedding in London in a few weeks and got a perfect green lace dress for it!
Hey ... the Sezane also Comes. In. Lllleopard ... and if you click on it, you can see more of the garment. I might like the green version better though. And that Aqua cardi would be perfect if it didn't have dropped shoulders. Otoh, the colors are quite good. Maybe when it is cooler I will think about it. (It is beginning to be tolerable today. And, I shouldn't complain. Others had it worse.)
I've always liked green, though I don't wear it much. I tend to like what is sometimes called bottle green. In fact, I once had green pants. I mention this bc I have a good friend who really hated those colorful men's pants that were big in Europe a while back. They never bothered me though.
If you get a chance, is that suit more of a knit sort of fabric? Is yours the same fabric as the one Kim linked to here? Bc a knit fabric is less likely to make me look like a fridge. Though, at the same time, perhaps then some type of spanx is called for, for the pants?
Favorite color of all time. Does not look great on me but def better since going blonde. I love green so much and these pieces are great.
I've had green sneakers in my 'want' list for about a year and a half now.
I purchased green sneakers - they are almost like a neutral. I wear them all the time! Go for it!

Ugh ugh ugh, I’m so sorry! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Hope you are on-the-mend soon. 💚
Oh C.W., that sounds like a nightmare, I'm so sorry.

I love green and am snapping up green accessories -- esp a cross-body phone bag and a pair of green suede Adidas sneakers. Timeless!

I own the green Boden suit from last year (as does a friend of mine) and OH MY the compliments! Can't wait to break it out once it cools a bit here.

Lovely colors, and I like how the designers have taken a detour from the typical autumn greens! 💚💚💚
