Such an elegant georgette shirt—with one of the best leopard prints I’ve seen in a while.
Is it time to get into leather jeans again? I’m thinking maybe yes, and I like the slouchy fit of this pair. Also, for leather jeans, the price isn’t bad at all.
And here’s a leather skirt that I find endlessly chic, and that I think would come in quite handy when you’ve got to dress nice but it’s cold out. And here’s something similar but cheaper.
I ordered these corduroys mere minutes ago: I like the slim-but-not-too-slim cut, the green/brown shade, and the cropped length (though I’m guessing they won’t be quite *this* cropped on me, because I’m for sure a good bit shorter than the model here).
And while I was populating my Nordstrom shopping cart, I went for these sneakers too. Most of the time I firmly believe that anything over $150 is too much to pay for sneakers but these were the absolutely perfect grey suede that I’d been searching for, with a slight platform sole, too, so I made an exception.
I am so in love with my new lace-up shoes from an Italian brand called Sturlini that I had not previously heard of. I bought them at Toast, Brooklyn’s new branch of the cute British brand, on Atlantic Avenue, which I visited the other day. They were a bit of a splurge, but I think I’ll wear them constantly.
This wool blazer is so tweedy and back-to-school stylish.
This tuxedo blazer is pricey, true. But it’s a fraction of the price of its inspiration, from YSL. And here’s one that’s cheaper than both of those, but that I must confess I don’t like as much as the one above.
I’m a sucker for a gold button, and I love the way they make this wool blend cardigan stand out. I also just think the sweater itself has a great shape.
And finally, I’d wear this oversized denim shirt as a light jacket. I’m always happy when I find denim so un-distressed. In addition to which, the pockets are just great.
Getting ready for a utilitarian fall with touches of menswear glam!
Those shoes! I wore an identical pair to death in the mid 1990s and I miss them. *adds to cart*.
