I’d like you to go more into depth on a recent question about when friends ghost you. My closest friend of over a decade (who is also my medical power of attorney and trustee as well as the guardian of my pets should something happen to me) has been different since Covid and has gradually faded out despite my best efforts. I’m hurt, confused and questioning our whole friendship. Our last get together was awkward and I felt like an obligation. It seemed for awhile she’d outsourced the friendship to her husband, who made excuses (overwhelmed, busy, etc) and now he’s disappeared in a puff too. I’m sick of feeling icky.
