I just started reading I Dream of Joni, a sort of biography in essays by the writer Henry Alford, whose work I fell in love with when he was at Spy magazine a million years ago. It reminds me a bit of this pop-cultural history of Princess Margaret, which I found hugely enjoyable. A must-read for all Joni Mitchell fans.
This guy is a guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Now his work is being exhibited there. A super-inspiring story.
