The Friday wrap-up

• I watched Anora over the break, and while it is not a perfect movie, I can’t stop thinking about it, which tells you something. It’s about a Brooklyn sex worker (played by Mikey Madison, who I loved in Pamela Adlon’s great show, Better Things) who gets caught up with a Russian oligarch’s son, with lots of ensuing craziness. Definitely worth a watch.
