Inside its pages were real women, not models or actresses, showing how to get dressed in a way that struck me as almost scarily individualistic in 1970s Houston. I recently pulled my old copy off the shelf, and was amazed at how modern the women looked, and how pertinent the book still is. It was also a BIG influence in the earliest days of Lucky, and is fun to leaf through in much the same way Lucky was. This reissue is available now for about $15, and I promise you it will be money well spent.
